1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.

2.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives from the British Council, Global Welsh, and from Dr Elin Royles.
3.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives from Taith, Urdd Gobaith Cymru, and the Welsh Language Commissioner’s Office.

4.6 The papers were noted and the Committee agreed to respond to the letters from the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Modern Languages, and from the Chair of the Petitions Committee. The Committee also agreed to contact the Advertising Standards Agency at a later date to discuss an inquiry into gambling advertising in Welsh sports.
